Privacy notice

Draft. To be reviewed before the public launch.

AcroSpot connects acro event organizers with participants. This notice explains which personal data we process, why, and what your rights are under the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and the GDPR.

Who is responsible

AcroSpot, Basel, Switzerland. Contact: hello@acrospot.org. For registration data, the organizer of the respective event is responsible as well; AcroSpot processes it on their behalf.

What we process

Your account (name, e-mail, password stored as a hash), your acro profile (role, level, country, city, accommodation preference, optional phone), your registrations and orders, and technical logs needed to run the service.

Diet and allergies

Allergies can be health data and diet can hint at religion. We only store them with your explicit consent: in your profile if you tick the box, and in a registration only to pass them to that event’s organizer.

Who sees what

An organizer sees your registration details only for their own events. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never reach our servers. E-mails are sent through our e-mail provider. We don’t sell data and don’t use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Account and profile until you delete them. Registrations and orders as long as accounting law requires (up to ten years for payment records).

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data and object to processing. Write to hello@acrospot.org.
